Pirate Shop Token Odds Calculator
How the odds calculator works
Each chest is treated as an independent roll with chance p = 1 / N. Your chance of at least one token after c chests is 1 − (1 − p)c. The chests needed for a target chance t are ln(1 − t) / ln(1 − p). With squad sharing on, c = your chests × squad size.
Worked example (an assumption, not a real rate): at 1 in 100,000, 10 chests a match and 20 matches, you open 200 chests, and your chance is about 0.2%. With a four-player squad sharing finds, it is 800 chests and about 0.8%.

- No source About 1 in 1,000 (0.1%) for the top reward tier. A community estimate posted without data; it covers the whole top tier, not the Pirate Shop alone. Sources: Blortzen on X
- Reported Player reports so far: one winner after about 150 chests; another player with nothing after 100 chests. Two data points do not give a rate. Sources: Dexerto (Callum Doyle), Timesaver.gg (Sam Okonkwo)
- Reported If anyone in your squad or party finds it, everyone in the group gets it. Epic's reward text does not mention squads. Sources: LootTrackerFN on X, Fortnite.GG on X, Hotspawn (Jordan Ashley), Timesaver.gg (Sam Okonkwo)

Frequently asked questions
What are the real Pirate Shop token odds?
Unknown. Epic has not published a drop rate. This calculator only shows what a rate you choose would mean.
Is the "1 in 700,000" chance real?
We found no source for it: no datamine, Epic statement or sample size. You can still enter it to see how it plays out.
Why does squad sharing change the result?
If every squad member gets the token when one finds it, each chest your teammates open is also a chance for you. The calculator multiplies your chests by your squad size when you tick that box.
Does opening more chests in one match raise the odds per chest?
There is no evidence that it does. The calculator treats each chest as an independent roll at the rate you enter.
